Summer Reading Club is a free program held from June 19 through August 4 for children of all ages. In-person registration is required to receive reading logs. Please see the Schedule of Events below for more information and a complete list of program dates.
Join us for 45 minutes of stories, songs, rhymes, and activities at Book Camp on Wednesdays at 2:00 PM starting June 28! These programs will take place at the library, Blossom Heath Park, or the St. Clair Shores Community Garden.
Maker Tuesdays, STEAM based hands-on projects, for children in grades 3 through 5, will be held at 2:00 PM on the grounds of the Selinsky-Green Farmhouse Museum or in the Library’s Gilstorf Meeting Room. Registration is required for Maker Tuesday programs and begins the week before.
Adults, teens, and children ages 3 and up are invited to drop-in and work on some creative projects this summer at Crafternoon programs. No registration is required and supplies will be provided. Please join us on the following Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
- On June 30, supplies to make friendship bracelets will be available.
- On July 14, supplies to make a puzzle piece for the Community Art Piece will be available.
- On July 28, supplies to make painted rocks will be provided.
