Are you looking for something fun and free to do this summer? Join us for St. Clair Shores Public Library's Summer Reading for Adults. This is a wonderful opportunity to read great books and maybe even bond over a few stories with a child, grandchild or another person in your life!
Summer Reading for Adults will run for seven weeks, Monday, June 19 through Friday, August 4, 2023. This year, our theme is All Together Now.
Who can participate?
The program is open to adults, 18-years of age and older.
How it works?
1. Register for the program by completing the form available at the Library and returning it to the Adult Information Desk. You must be registered in order to be eligible to win prizes.
2. Start reading/listening to library books.
3. Each time you complete a book, stop by the Summer Reading for Adults display and fill out an entry ticket. All tickets submitted will be entered into a weekly drawing for a gift card. One prize will be awarded every week. The drawings will be held every Monday morning for the seven weeks that the program runs. Registrants may only win once during the weekly drawings.
a. For each adult library book read or listened to you will earn one entry ticket.
b. Read any five books to a child and you will earn one entry ticket.
This program is generously funded by the Friends of the St. Clair Shores Public Library.
